We have an abundance of new and exciting items here at CBM Middletown so I would like to let you know about some of them so they don't go un-noticed.
HOTEL CALIFORNIA TEQUILA IS IN STOCK ALONG WITH KRAKEN RUM
ST- GERMAIN- the first in the world to be created in the French artisanal manner from hand picked Elderflower blossoms. The delicate flowers only bloom for a few short weeks at the foot hills of the Alps in the late spring. French farmers pick and deliver the flowers using a very organized  system using specially rigged bicycles for delivery of the freshly picked blossoms. Next the flowers are immediately macerated to capture the utmost flavor and freshness. The flowers are married with an eau-de–vie spirit to create a wonderful French liqueur. Next they blend just a hint of sugar and citrus to enhance the flavor of the flower. The nose and palate contain hints of grapefruit, peaches and pear. The end result is just outstanding, different and wonderful. The following recipe is for a sangira that sounded really good for the summer from their recipe book give it a shot I don't think you'll be dissapointed.
SANGRIA FLORA
1 - BOTTLE SAUVINON BLANC OR DRY WHITE WINE
2 - CUPS ST- GERMAIN
2 - FRESH PEACHES
1 - FRESH ORANGE
5-6 – FRESH STRAWBERRIES
6 – FRESH RASPBERRIES
1- BUNCH FRESH GRAPES
METHOD – Stir ingredients in a pitcher or carafe. Allow fruit to soak in the mixture between 3 and 8 hours before serving. Serve in an ice filled glass.
ARANCELLO DI PUGLIA – A new cordial from our friends at Puglia. Made from the juice of Sicilian blood oranges this cordial is one you should not miss. Intense citrus color aromas and flavors are abundant. If you are a fan of Limoncella and are looking for something just a little different this is just the thing. This Arancello is the perfect ending to any meal.
Captain Morgan has come out with a Long Island Ice Tea that is really good and you don’t have  to spend a fortune on all the ingredients. You should give this one a try it’s easy just chill and go, no mixing involved. I know we have had a lot of request for this item and finally they are here so stop by and enjoy some soon.
The other item new from Parrot Bay we have for the summer are mojito’s we have them in regular lime and mango. We tried them both and were pleasantly surprised and I’m not much of a mojito fan myself. Again they are chill and go so there is no mixing or measuring involved s o there is no margin for error. You can’t mess it up.
Domaine de Canton is a new premium eaux-de-vie. It is a VSOP Cognac infused with ginger and  vanilla. Just a touch of vanilla and definitely some spice, this is new and very interesting.
SAUZA MARGARITA - Premixed and ready for your next gathering just chill and go. Great for the beach or your next picnic.
BRAECKMAN CORDIALS- Imported from Belgian. These new products should not be missed. They are absolutely great. We tried them back in the spring but they took a while to get here. Every one of them has great flavor and style. They are great on there own or as an addition to any mixed drink. There isn't a bad flavor in the bunch, so I suggest you try them all in due time. They are very reasonably priced so they won't break the bank. They are imported by a small company out of  East Haddam just starting up so you would be helping out the little guy, which doesn’t hurt either. So if you’re looking for something new and different give these a try you won’t be disappointed.
ALCHEMIA POLISH VODKA - An infused vodka that is very good. Infused vodkas are created by saturating or infusing the ingredients in already distilled vodka. By doing this the vodka extracts the best characteristics of the ingredients added, giving the vodka its richness and character. The bottle is styled after a laboratory instrument of old, such as an Alchemist would have used in his  experiments. Alchemia comes in three flavors - chocolate, wild cherry and ginger. All three flavors are wonderful. I’m not a big fan of straight up vodka drinking but these will definitely change your mind. Serve them well chilled over ice and sit back and wait to be pleasantly surprised. They may fast become your new favorite drink.
OPERA BELTION WHITE AMARETTO- A whole new experience in an amaretto. It's creamy in texture and color. It is non dairy so you don't have to keep it refrigerated. The almond flavor is what gives it the creaminess and wonderful flavor. Something new and different that will make a great pinacolada. Stop by and give it a try.
