CANNONBALL CABERNET SAUVIGNON- 2006 was a great year for the fruit of this wine with low yields and smaller berries the fruit had more intense flavor and character. Deep in color and intensity this wine is packed with strawberry, blackberry and black cherry. Cocoa, currant and slight
hints of black pepper with just a hint of rose petals can also be found. Firm tannins give this wine great structure and a long finish.

LA LINDA wines are new to us from South America, We recently did a tasting on them and they were very well received. If you weren"t lucky enough to have been here to have tried the wines you
missed a lot of good wines at a good price. Today we are all looking for value and taste in our purchases, these wines have both. They have six varieties to choose from. The wines range from the Torrontes which is a sweeter style white to the Malbec and Bonarda which are more full bodied and drier style reds. There is something for everyone with this company so stop by and give one or two a try. You will not be disappointed.
We had the wine maker from the Michael David Winery in recently and he brought us in some absolutely delicious wines, I would like to share them with you. The first one is
6th Sense Syrah; the vines for this wine were planted in 1982. Vanilla, blackberry and coffee are just some of the flavors you will find on the palate of this wine. Extremely rich and full bodied this wine is not for the feint of heart or palate. You will enjoy this one from your first sip to your last. The next wines are from their Earthquake Series; this is their premiere line of wines. Every one of these wines was fantastic and well worth the price in my book. The Earthquake Petit Syrah was my personal favorite. Blueberries, black cherry and coffee bean will be just some of the flavors you will find. The color on this wine is a rich dark ink. A lush wine that will hold up to cellaring or ready to drink now, so please don't feel you have to wait. Earthquake Zinfandel is packed with plum, vanilla and spicy
cloves just to name a few of the surprises that await you. The Earthquake wines are a little higher in alcohol with all the wines being over 15%. Last but not least is the Earthquake Cabernet mocha, vanilla, cherry and just a hint of menthol followed by just the right amount of tannins to keep it all together. This wine is more than just a mouthful if you're lucky you can keep your friends and loved ones away from the bottle long enough to fully enjoy it. You'll probably want to be greedy with these wines.
ANGELINE PINOT NOIR- This wine comes from the Russian River Valley known for warm summers and cool winters. The fog in the area is also good for the grapes as it shields them from the severe rise in temperatures. This wine is deep ruby in color and packed with fruit. R

aspberries, strawberries, with just a hint of vanilla are the primary flavors of this wine. Slight layers of vanilla oak can also be found on the palate which helps with the balance of the wine.
TOAD HOLLOW ROSE- French in style this wine is bone dry on the palate. Very elegant in style

it is produced with pinot noir grapes. Great body and a beautiful pink blush are found here. A nose of rose petal and violets are prevalent. The lack of sugar on this wine bring out the wild strawberry flavors, very interesting.
MARQUES DE CACERES ROSE- This wine is from Spain. Well balanced this wine is the perfect wine to stand up to your stuffing and turkey dinner. Rich in Strawberry flavors

and very refined on the palate. The flavors will linger and hold your interest long after the meal has finished. Dry and crisp but very interesting to be sure a wine you will not want to miss.
SALICE SALENTINO- From Italy this wine comes off slightly sweet. It is packed wi

th berry fruits and just a slight amount of tannins. So if you are just beginning to try red wines and are a little hesitant this is the wine for you. It is also a great party wine because of its versatility.
PACIFIC RIM SWEET REISLING- All the grapes in this wine come fromWashington State. The grapes are picked riper for there sugar content. A small amount of yeast is used to encourage

fermentation and keep the sweetness in the wine. There is also a small amount of carbon dioxide left in the wine to keep a slight spritz in the wine. The end product is a refreshing, sweet low alcohol wine. Flavored with pineapple and peaches and a perfect balance to make it the perfect wine with Caribbean, Thai and Szechwan dishes. PACIFIC DRY RIESLING- The grapes for this wine are picked early, they are fermented cold for a month in stainless steel. There is no oak used on this wine at any time. 20% German Riesling are blended with these grapes to give the wine more interest. The German grapes add acidity as well as depth. This Riesling is packed with citrus, jasmine and a slight touch of minerals. This is a crisp dry lush wine, great with seafood and cheese.
Newmans Own Wine - We are keeping these wines on our web page for a while as a salute to a great actor and a great man. What more can one say. All the profits from the sales of the wines go to Charitable Purposes. To date over 200 Million dollars have been donated by Paul Newman so far.
Newmans Own Chardonnay- The grapes for these wines are found in two locations
Monterey and Santa Barbara. The cool climate helps to give the Chardonnay its great balance and complexity. The Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel tanks to help maintain freshness and crispness. Rich tropical fruits and a slight hint of vanilla oak undertones can be found on the palate and the nose of this wine. A wonderful wine with fish, chicken, or pasta dishes.
Newmans Own Cabernet- Specially selected grapes from the
Napa, Sonoma and the San Luis Obispo Counties are used to make this substantial Cab. First fermented in stainless steel, the wine is then transferred to French and American Oak for aging. This is a rich cabernet with a full bodied style. Black cherries, spices and vanilla will be most prevalent with this wine. Wonderfully balanced with just the right amount of tannins.
