STONE BREWING- Sends us four brews on a regular basis they are Levitation ale, Arrogant Bastard, Stone IPA and last but not least Stone Pale Ale. The Pale Ale is the classic style ale of the bunch packed full of citrus flavors and aromas. You will also find a hint of pine and caramel on this brew just to keep things interesting. All in all a very pleasant Ale approachable to all. Levitation Ale is deep amber ale packed with malt flavors and an abundant amount of hops. Stone IPA is a full bodied IPA packed full of hops, hops and more hops high in alcohol this brew will cellar well if that is your desire but why wait. Arrogant Bastard ale is the big daddy of the bunch. A dark red pour out of the bottle and a creamy rich head will remain long after the bottle opens. Citrus and slight caramel aromas will linger; the palate is bitter but well balanced by the malts. This beer is not for the feint of heart but if you like the rich style brews by all means give this brew a try.
SEBAGO BREWING-Sebago IPA is a full-bodied Ipa packed full of caramel malts. Hoppy and medium bodied this IPA has a golden orange hew and a rich citrus aroma and palate. A slight hint of pine is also found of this beer along with moderate carbonation. Full Throttle is the other offering from Sebago. Unfiltered and bursting with hops this a mouthful. Citrus and pine flavors will overwhelm you on this one so hold on to your hat.
ESTRELLA DAMN INEDIT- Inedit is a unique blend of barley malt and wheat. Flavored with coriander, orange peel and liquorices this beer has a slightly cloudy appearance which is perfectly normal. A yeasty and sweet spicy sensation on the palate very creamy in texture and delicately carbonic. Fruits and floral are in abundance on the palate and in the nose of this beer very complex and packed full of style.
LOOSE CANNON- If you are a fan of big hops this is the beer for you over 3 pounds of hops per barrel are in this brew. This is not for the weak of heart so bring your fork and dig in.

NEW BEERS FROM SOUTHERN TIER BREWING COMPANY ARE HERE. THEY ARE IN THE COOLER SO THEY STAY NICE AND FRESH. SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED SO HURRY DOWN. Cherry Saison is a dessert beer that has spice overtones and the sweetness of fresh cherries. The unearthly IPA is packed with malt and very vell hopped. It is not for the light hearted at 11% abv. This brew is best enjoyed in a fluted glass to release all the flavors and aromas.
ALSO NEW FROM DOGFISH HEAD SQUALL IPA. This is an unfiltered brew that is bottle conditioned. Very full bodied and just packed full of hops. Squall tops out at 9% alc. for those of you who like your beer with a little kick.
DOGFISH HEAD BURTON BATON- 90 Minute IPA and English Ales are blended together to give you this interesting brew. Notes of citrus, just great for the summer and slight hints of vanilla from the oak are also abundant. Some hints of raisin and fruitcake can also be found on the palate which keeps this brew all the more fun and exciting for the taste buds.
RODENBACK ALE AND GRAND CRU - Both are back in stock and are in limited quantities. Flemish style Red Ales both are matured in oak vats which give the beer its distinctive sweet sour taste. The younger of the two is a blend of 70% young ale and 25% 2 year old ale, the Grand cru is a blend of 33% young ale and 76% 2 year old ale. It is up to you to decide how intense you would like your flavors. These brews are kept in our fridge section only so you will not find them in the usual spot on the floor, this is to prevent spoilage as these beers are to be kept at a cool temp at all times.
LIENENKUGAL 1888 BOCK- Munich malts are what give this beer its style and richness. Chocolate and just a hint of citrus balance out the caramel flavor of this beer.
This beer is cold layered for 30 days which helps to add to the fullness and character.
We have three beers for you from Hawaii for those of you who are craving a taste of island life but just don't have the budget.
Our beers are from the Kona Brewing Company the first is Wailua Wheat Ale- Packed with passion fruit and citrus flavors this was just too fruity for our tasters taste buds, but if you are a fruity beer lover this is the brew for you. The next is Long Board Island Lager a delicate slightly spicy brew. This one is a little too light in style for our taste. But not to panic there is always something for everyone and the last one was our tasters favorite it"s called Fire Rock Pale Ale. Deep copper in color and a great roasted malt flavor. Honey and caramel with just the right hint of citrus to balance the beer, this one is a must try. Just like Goldilocks if at first you don't succeed don"t give up. The perfect beer is out there and half the fun is finding it.
OLD HOWLING BASTARD. From Bluepoint Brewing Company, this beer is being featured at Eli Cannon's here in town. It is a barley wine style ale and is 10% abv. so you can cellar this one if you wish it will get better with a little aging.
MONSTER ALE- from the Brooklyn Brewery this Seasonal is sure to be a hit. This Ale is made in the true barley wine style from classic Old England. It is a blend of three heirloom British malts and spiced with aromatic American Willamette, Cascade and Fuggle hops. This ale is high in alcohol. at 10.8% you may drink this ale now or it will age well. Monster ale has a wonderful copper hue and a delicious citrus and fruity palate. Followed by aromas of sherry wood. So if you're looking for something new and different this is the beer for you. But don"t delay it's a seasonal and won"t be around forever.
PALM- A beer from Belgium. This beautifully colored amber beer is brewed according to the infusion method. The water with its very high mineral content is also responsible for the flavor of the beer. The maritime barley which is also used contributes to the originality of the brew. The beer is only slightly hopped which results in a slightly fruity flavored beer. All in all a wonderful balance is achieved and should be experienced by anyone looking for a great glass of beer. Palm is one of Belgium’s leading beers and has been for generations.
SHOCK TOP- A Belgian white wheat ale. Cloudy in the true Belgian style of beer making. Light and golden in color and very full of aroma this beer is a mouth full. Chocked full of complex flavors and style. Lime, coriander, orange and lemon are only some of the flavors you will find with this ale.
Opa Opa pale Ale - Copper colored American style ale. Plenty of clean malt flavors can be found with this brew. A great snappy hop finish.
Opa Opa IPA - Aromatic, bitter and very strong in style, not for the faint of heart. The malt and hops can definitely be found here. For the more experienced palate.
Opa Opa Red Rock Amber- A blend of German Vienna malt and English crystal malts create this slightly fruity and malty beer. Sweet caramel flavors are followed by a soft and surprisingly smooth finish.
Opa Opa Brown Ale - This brown ale has a sweet side that you definitely won't miss followed by a definite bite. Very interesting and not to be missed.
Opa Opa Kix Extra Pale Ale - A light bodied ale with a smooth finish. Watch out Corona. Serve this one with a lemon wedge and you're set to go.
WEYERBACHER
   
We have a line of beers from the Weyebacher Brewery. First is Simcoe IPA- An intense brew packed with hops. Simcoe is flavored with hints of pineapple and citrus upfront and lots of malt to give the beer some style and character. The second is Blithering Idiot a barleywine made in True British Style. A deep malty ale packed with dates and figs. Best to serve this brew in a wine glass or a brandy snifter to enjoy all the flavors and aromas that are packed in this one. The next one is Quad a dark ale complex and packed full of flavors and complexities. This beer can also be cellared as it will only improve with age. Quad is best served as an aperitif or a compliment to any dessert. Last but not least is Heresy. Aged in oak barrels that were used to make Kentucky bourbon give this beer its unique style and character. Packed with cocoa, vanilla and coffee bean aromas, followed by the rich flavors of roasted barley and whiskey with hints of vanilla keep this more than interesting. If you are a beer fan these brews should not be missed.
SHERWOOD FOREST BEERS- These beers hale from Mass. A small Brewery started in the brewer’s back yard. Archers English Style Pale Ale is the first a full bodied beer deep amber in color and long in flavor. The second is Sheriffs’ IPA a golden colored brew with strong citrus aromas and flavors. Next we have Maidens Blueberry Ale packed full of juicy blueberry flavors and a dry finish. Last we have Friars Belgian White Ale creamy ale flavored with coriander and orange peel. Friars Belgian White is Spicy and sweet on the palate and packed full of surprises.
CISCO BREWERS- Located on Nantucket Island. Triple Eight is the islands first distillery. They use only natural ingredients in all their brews. Along with beer they also make Triple Eight Vodka, Hurricane Rum, and Gale Force Gin.
WHALE'S TALE PALE ALE- English style, amber in color, well balanced between hops and malt. The most popular of the line. Pares well with food.
BAILEYS ALE– Medium bodied, light golden color, citrus finish and a floral nose.
MOOR PORTER– Rich chocolate and coffee flavors will be found. A strong porter almost stout like in style.
CAPTAIN SWAINS EXTRA STOUT– A dark stout rich and hearty. Full of dried fruit and roasted barley flavors. Not for the faint of heart.
QU ELQUE CHOSE ALE - From the Unibroue Brewery, a name known to those who are familiar with a great beer. When rich ripe cherries are left to steep in a wonderful vat of beer, this is the result. If your looking for something unique and interesting, look no more. This brew can be enjoyed cold, or served hot and still be awesome, you can't say that very often. Give this one a try, I promise you won't be disappointed. This is a limited edition, so don't wait too long or you will be out of luck.
WILD BLUE- A blueberry lager made with natural blueberry favor. At 8% alc. this beer is slightly higher than the average brew. Lightly carbonated crisp and full of flavor you should try this brew if you’re a blueberry fan.
CASTILLON IRIS– A product of Belgium. Made from 100% barley malt. Aged for three years in oak casks. Fermented with wild yeasts. Made in the style of great lampics, this brew will not disappoint. Full of class and style.
BARBAR– Also from Belgium. If you like honey, than you will love this beer. Made from water from artesian wells on site at the brewery. Combine a traditional family century old method, and great hops, barley, and malts and the slightest touch of honey and you have this beer.
BLANCHE DE BRUXELLES- Also a Belgian. This is a Witbier, an old style beer made on the farms of Belgium. This is a grainy, slightly cloudy beer. Slightly sweet with hints of apples and ginger. Aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing. The beer is not filtered and is refermented with yeast and brewing sugar.
PEAK ORGANIC BREWING COMPANY- A small brewery using only natural ingredients. No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in any of their products. We carry three of their beers. This brewery began a dream in 1998 and has been growing ever since.
